Official Call for Presenters: Brand Identity & Package Design Event 2005

 

Now in its 9th year, IIR’s Brand Identity & Package Design event has become one of the leading forums for marketing and design professionals to share ideas about driving optimal brand performance be creating a powerful synergy between strategy and design.  Close to 200 brand and design leaders attended the 2004 Brand Identity & Package Design event and we plan to build on that momentum for 2005.

 

We invite you to submit a proposal for a speaking opportunity at Brand Identity & Package Design, scheduled for April 18 – 20, 2005 in New York City.  Submit your proposal to Jenny Amon, conference producer, at jamon@iirusa.com by Tuesday, August 31, 2004 (see details below).

 

The presentations, case studies and workshops at Brand Identity & Package Design will illustrate how forward-thinking companies are transforming and growing their corporate cultures, brands, products and identities through design.  The program will reveal energizing approaches to embracing design as a powerful tool to push brand performance, develop a strong competitive advantage and grow profit margins.  The 2005 conference will have two streaming tracks – Strategy & Design.  We’re interested in the following presentation topics:

Ø       Logo/Label Updates and Redesigns

Ø       Balancing Retailer and Consumer Needs

Ø       Global Branding

Ø       Multilingual Packaging

Ø       Multicultural Marketing

Ø       Niche Marketing

 

All presentations should focus on pushing and growing your corporate cultures, brands, products and identities through strategic design.  Case study presentations are particularly encouraged.

 

Submission Guidelines & Details

We are currently recruiting corporate practitioners to speak at the conference and share what has worked (and what hasn’t worked) in their organizations.  We have a limited number of slots on the program available for solution providers/consultants.  Solution providers who wish to become a part of the program should contact Deborah Hatcher, business development manager, at 212-661-3500 x3188 or dhatcher@iirusa.com.  Presentation sessions will last 30 to 45 minutes.

 

WORKSHOP FACILITATORS NEEDED

We are also interested in proposals for half-day workshops led by consultants or practitioners on Monday, April 18, 2005.  Possible workshop topics include:

Ø       Mastering the Request for Proposal (RFP) Process

Ø       Packaging Innovation

Ø       Brand Asset Management

Ø       Managing for Optimal Organizational Effectiveness & Creativity

Speakers receive free admission to the conference ($2,000 registration fee waived). Those individuals chosen to participate will be notified shortly after the deadline.
