Disconnect:  The city of Bloomington’s Convention and Visitor’s Bureau was searching for an impactful way to showcase the sights and sounds of their large metropolitan suburb.  With more than 85,000 residents and 6,000 businesses, they hoped to better connect potential visitors to the many features the city has to offer and invite them to visit not only the Mall Of America but other destinations that provide hospitality and entertainment.

Link:  Visitors to the Minneapolis/St.Paul area are aware of the vast amount of things to do so we created multimedia CD-ROM that detailed and highlighted Bloomington’s key points of interest.  Along with promoting the Mall Of America, the interactive medium featured valuable information about travel throughout the city, recreational “hot spots”, and great places to eat, drink, and be merry.

Solution:  The presentation invited viewers to see what the city of Bloomington, MN had in store for them via an interactive experience.  It was handed out at trade shows and mailed to those interested so the CVB successfully promoted their fine city, generated visitors and ultimately brought more exposure to local businesses. 

The true success to this project was credited to the time constraints and deadlines Linking Solutions was under to complete the presentation on time. Able to maintain the high quality standards that we hold ourselves to, we shifted to another gear and fueled ourselves with high-octane creativeness and dedication to get it done.  Thus the Bloomington CVB was able to catch their flight on time with their promotional CDs in hand.
